About us
From the creators of Irelands Eye Knitwear, Face It was born during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Knitwear is all we have known for the past 30 years, but this challenging time has forced us to adapt to a new norm.
We had a factory with no knitwear being produced, we had the skills, and most of all we had hope. We re-arranged our production floor to maintain social distancing and began learning how to make reusable face masks on our sewing machines.
We received generous donations of cotton fabric, and very quickly we started donating packs of face masks to local nursing homes, GP clinics, pharmacies and other front line workers. After many weeks of donating our masks country wide, it became increasingly difficult to ignore the demand of people wanting to buy our masks for themselves and their loved ones.
We decided on the name "Face It", as we can face this virus with hope and confidence, but most of all, with the knowledge that we are all facing it together.
